Privacy Policy

Last updated August 27, 2026 · Sloth Does LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company

At SlothDoes.com (“we,” “us,” or “the Sloth”), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website, sign up for lead magnets, or subscribe to our emails.

What Information We Collect

  • Email address (when you opt in to one of our lead magnets — for example, Slotho’s Cancel List — or our newsletter).
  • Click data when you use one of our slothdoes.com/go/… short links — see “Our /go/ Links” below.
  • Email delivery data when we send you an email — whether it reached you, whether it bounced, and whether it was reported as spam. See “Our Emails” below.
  • Public comments left on our own YouTube videos — the comment text, the public display name YouTube shows beside it, and when it was posted. See “Google and YouTube API Services” below.
  • We do not collect addresses, phone numbers, or payment details, and we never ask you for your name. The only name we hold is the public display name YouTube shows beside a comment you chose to post in public.

How We Use Your Information

  • To send you the free lead magnet you requested.
  • To deliver occasional emails with automation tips, tool recommendations, and affiliate offers.
  • To improve our content and website experience.

Our /go/ Links

Links of the form slothdoes.com/go/… are short links we operate ourselves. They forward you to a partner’s site (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When one is clicked, we log the link name, the time of the click, the country it came from, the referring page, and the browser’s user-agent string. We do not log IP addresses, and none of this identifies you personally. We use it to see which videos and pages people actually find useful.

Our Emails

We run our own email system. Your email address, the date you subscribed, and a record of which emails we have sent you are stored in our own database on Cloudflare’s infrastructure.

To deliver the mail we use Resend. Resend receives your email address and the contents of the message in order to send it, and reports back whether it was delivered, whether it bounced, and whether it was reported as spam. We record those events against your address so that we stop mailing addresses that no longer work. Resend’s own handling of data is described in its privacy policy.

We do not use open tracking or click tracking in our emails. We do not place a tracking pixel in them, and we do not rewrite the links they contain.

Every email carries a working one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Google and YouTube API Services

SlothDoes uses YouTube API Services. Our own publishing tools connect to the SlothDoes YouTube channel through Google’s YouTube APIs to do the following:

  • Upload videos and set their titles, descriptions, and thumbnails on our own channel (scope: youtube.upload).
  • Manage our own channel’s videos and comments — for example, editing a video description or posting and pinning a comment on our own video (scope: youtube.force-ssl).
  • Read our own channel’s performance reports — aggregate figures for our own videos, such as views and watch time (scope: yt-analytics.readonly).

We also read the public comments left on our own videos, through YouTube’s public Data API. When we do, we keep a copy of the comment — its text, the public display name YouTube shows beside it, and when it was posted — so that we can see what our audience is telling us over time. We do not use it to profile you, we do not sell or share it, and we do not contact you because of it. If you would like our copy of your comment deleted, email us at hello@slothdoes.com and we will remove it.

Apart from those public comments, this access touches only our own channel and our own account. It does not access, collect, or store any data belonging to site visitors or to other Google users.

By using YouTube API Services, users of this site and our channel are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access granted to our tools can be reviewed and revoked at any time in Google security settings.

SlothDoes’ use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Third Parties

We use Resend to deliver our emails, and Systeme.io for parts of our email and landing-page setup. Affiliate links may set cookies for tracking conversions (standard industry practice). We do not sell your email address to third parties.

Your Rights

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time (one-click link at the bottom). You may also request deletion of your email by contacting us at hello@slothdoes.com.

If you ask us to delete your data, we remove your subscriber record. We keep your address on our suppression list, because deleting it entirely would let a future sign-up form add you again by accident. We use it for nothing else.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new version.
